SWINE FLU
Saturday evening I began to show signs of a mild cold like symptoms, a mild sore throat, a runny nose, hot and cold flushes.
Sunday I was not really feeling any better but I did not feel any worse.
Monday morning I was still feeling the same, so at 10:20 I decided to ring my GP for advice. I was told by the receptionist to contact NHS Direct and was given the number to ring ( 0845 46 47 ). I followed their recording and selected choice two but this would not connect.
I rang again but this time followed choice one and was given another number to ring ( 0800 1 513 513 ) where another recorded message told me to ring my GP. ( what a f**king joke ).
So I rang my GP and told the receptionist who said that they would get somebody to ring me, I am still waiting as I write this nearly one hour so far.
As I have Chronic Heart Disease I need help and help fast. I went on-line and found the Official NHS Swine Flu advice page and my listed conditions are listed as HIGH RISK.

Try clicking on What is Swine Flu, I got no results. ( Another f**king joke ).
I am restricted to which over the counter medication I can use as I am on many different medications for my heart.
So if anything goes wrong I want the world to know what a shit country England is, and what a set of jokers we have running the country.

Dr Brock returned my phone call 11:50
Dr Brock from Chapeloak Practice rang me @ 11:50 and offered me his advice and said that if my temperatures gets to above 37.0 °C he would then class me as an urgent case and treat me as for Swine Flu, but he is uncertain if I have Swine Flu or just a mild summer cold.
Due to my heart condition he offered me only paracetamol to keep my temperature under control.

I did ring the BBCtv North but they didn't think this was a news worthy story unless I take ill with Swine Flu.
So I emailed SKY News with the above story.

Health wise I am still feeling ill, like I have a slightly stronger version of this virus, my throat feels more sore and I am still feeling rather tired and run down. Although due to my normal vascular disease aches and pains I don't get much sleep anyway. In fact what is sleep ?

WEDNESDAY 15th of JULY 2009
DO NOT PANIC AS NOBODY I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH IS SHOWING ANY SIGNS OF FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS
I can't sleep at the best of times due to the vascular disease, especially in my legs, but that was one of a Hell of a rough night, think I was abducted by Aliens and had my brain sucked out. I woke up at 7:30 on the settee and wondered if it was morning or night, it was morning but that took some working out.
My cough was worse this morning, plenty to get off my chest, and my temperature was a little iffy, but now at 13:20 I feel like I am coming round a little.
Trouble is, if this is Swine Flu then it could turn nasty at anytime and with my Chronic Heart Condition it could be too late for the doctors to help me, Russian Roulette.
I seem to be getting an annoying headache that says to me that all is not well, but I hope to be here to conclude this documentary.

THURSDAY 16th of JULY 2009
Today I feel like there is an improvement in my health, still a bit congested and coughing but I hope that this is the road to recovery and not my grave.
It as been a total mind game at times and I will be relieved to go back outside and visit my family and friends again.

FRIDAY 17th of JULY 2009
Just as I thought I was starting to get better I have still got a lot of congestion and my temperature was on the high side this morning. I feel as though this could be coming back or I am now developing another Virus ?
I have been getting strange pains in my head that last for 20 to 30 minutes or so and then seem to clear for a few hours. I am still feeling very sleepy and at times it is hard work breathing, more like puffing and panting.
Hopefully tomorrow there will be an improvement not only in my health but in the weather as today as been none stop rain. I have not been able to get much in the way of fresh air or exercise. I need to go out I am sure this will help me feel much better and assist in my recovery as well as reduce the pains in my legs.

SATURDAY 18th of JULY 2009
Coming up to 8 days and the congestion feels like it is going then it seems to come back stronger. But so far today my temperature seems to be under control and I have not had the head pains.
At least it as stopped raining and I have managed to get some fresh air and exercise, think that may have helped me breathe more easier.

SUNDAY 19th to TUESDAY 21st of JULY 2009
Well whatever it is it is not going without a fight, one minute I feel as though it as cleared up then next thing I know I am suffering again. Still coughing and wheezing, and I am still very tired with all this interuption to my daily health issues.

Doctors are telling you to contact the NHS Direct as they are handling all the Swine Flu cases and problems.
NHS Direct is offering a recorded massage service only. ( unless you are actually about to die from Swine Flu, then you may get a human to talk to ).
NHS direct pass you on to another recorded service on an 0800 number, this tells you to go on-line and visit their website ( which doesn't fully work due to broken links ). The recording also tells you if you are still worried to contact your doctor.
Well that is where I started ............. bunch of jokers ...... and you can quote me.
